  • OTF-1200X80-HPV-III-GF is a high pressure tube furnace with three heating zones and gas flow control system as wll as a protective frame..    Processing tube is made of Ni based superalloy with 50 mm ID , which can be heated to max.1100°C under high pressure oof both oxygen and inert gases with cotrolled flow rate.    The furnace originally is designed for processing Fe based superconductive material, also can be usd for exploring new generation oxide ceramic as a compact HIP.

    One pair of water cooling ring , made of cupper tube , is installed on two ends of the tube ( > 10 liter / min water flow is required)
    One 1.5 meter long, 1/4" high pressure tubes are included (see the picture on the above-right ) for connecting to gas tank and gas-inlet furnace tube   ( Please never use ordinary SS tube to connect to gas-inlet for using > 5Mp pressure, whcih may cause tube exploded )
    One 16 L/min flow rate recirculating water chiller  is inclued as a cooling system to save water.

  • Gas control system is built in a heavy duty mobile table  under furnace and safety fram
    Three pressure sensors and digital displays are installed to monitor furnace pressure for gas inlet, inside tube and gas flow end separately
    One high pessure mass flow controller is built in gas outlet to control gas flow rate with max. 10 Mpa working pressure and 500 MCC flow rate latoptop via included soft ware for remote monitoring and controlling
    Three adjustable pressure release valves are installed to ensure safety.    The valve will release gas when pressure reaches setting ponts.

  • Safety Notes
  • Ni based Super-alloy ( Waspaloy or equivalent) is a reliable processing tube which can be used under high temperature and high pressure..    It has excellent ductility and tensile property so only creep deformation happens under overpressure destruction test and following by a crack formed (usually at the hot zone at the center of tube) to release the pressure.    Brittle fracture won’t happen in the overpressure destruction test which means no tube explosion will happen under overpressure of inert gas or safe gas or under other accidents causing overpressure of inert gas or safe gas.
