  • OTF-1200X-HP-30A (updated from OTF-1200X-HP-30 with extra analog controlled pressure relief valve and pressure monitoring gauge) is a CE/UL/CSA certified compact high pressure tube furnace featuring a Ni based super-alloy tube vessel (30 mm O.D x 12 mm I.D x 560 mm L).    It can be used under ultra-highly oxidizing and inert gas atmosphere up to 1100°C to process special compounds.    It is a compact HIP (hot isostatic pressure) furnace for researching new generation of materials at low cost.
  • A solenoid valve is installed on the flange allows auto-pressure relief control. Temp. Control and Pressure Real-time Monitoring software is also included. (new feature since 5/12/14, Laptop is included since 9/10/15 )

    ○  Please set up pressure alarm point in digital pressure display before operation

  • Pressure Monitoring and Relief
  • Pressure transducer is installed on the right flange and connected to the digital pressure monitor which allows you set the higher pressure limit.
    One high pressure solenoid valve is installed on left flange and controlled by pressure monitor.
    Max. pressure can be set on pressure monitor.    Once Max. pressure inside vessel is reached, gas will be released automatically.
    Note : Max. sustainable pressure of the standard solenoid valve is 150 bar(2165 psi/ 15MPA). If you need pressure > 150bar at lower temperature, the manual valve beneath the solenoid valve shall be shut off.
  • PC Control
  • A brand new labtop with pre-installed & tested software is included for immediate use (Since 9/10/15).
    A MTS-02  control software is included for controlling and displaying temperature and pressure by PC at remote location.
    Please don't try to buy furnace without computer because laibility issues.
     
  • Pressure Transducer
  • The pressure transducer is installed on the right flange.    The pressure will be displayed in the pressure monitor on the front panel of the furnace.    Pressure measurement range upto 250 bar.
    The alarm system is built in the pressuremeter which allow user to set up the high limit point of pressure.    When the measuring pressure exceed limit point, the alarm will be activated and open the solenoid pressure reliefe valve

  • Ni based Super-alloy : ( Waspaloy or equivalent is a reliable processing tube which can be used under high temperature and high pressure.    It has excellent ductility and tensile property so only creep deformation happens under overpressure destruction test and following by a crack formed (usually at the hot zone at the center of tube) to release the pressure.    Brittle fracture won’t happen in the overpressure destruction test which means no tube explosion will happen under overpressure of inert gas or safe gas or under other accidents causing overpressure of inert gas or safe gas.

    Attention : for the use with flammable, toxic or corrosive gases, you must contact MTI engineering group for the consultation to know all the prerequisites and precautionary measures.
    Do not over tightening the flange screws as this may cause permenent damages to the flange or screws.    Please refer to  the instructions about proper torque for installing CF flange bolts.    We recommend you use torque wrench  to tighten the screws with the flange.
