DIE05DGP4R Regular splittable graphite die is a consumable set for YLJ-HP5 Hot press.

DIE05DGP4S splittable graphite die is a consumable set for OTF-1200X-VHP4 and OTF-1700X-RHP4 and other heated pressing furnaces. It is used for the dry press of ceramic material at a high temperature up to 1700 ºC and up to ~50 MPa. It features two split die inserts for easy sample releasing.

EQ-Die-05D -GP-4S Die does NOT come with the Tungsten Thermocouple Sheath. Using the sheath is highly recommended if you do not currently have one for the best performance of thermocouples.

  Cautions
  •    Please must always wear protective goggles during operation !!!
  •    The pressing die cannot be used for pressing powder with a particle size < 30 microns. Small particles may slip
  •    into the gap between the pushing rod and steel sleeve and cause damages to the sleeve during the
  •    compression.
  •    Ball mill and sieve the powder and apply only the 32~75 microns powder to the pressing die to avoid the
  •    damages.
  •    Please consider using the 3'' Dia. Sieve Set No.200&450 Mesh to separate the 32~75 microns particles from the
  •    powder clumps. Please clean the mold via ethanol after the completion of each experiment. ( Pic. 1)
  •    You may use BN coating as mould release (Pic 2)
