Vacuum Gauge and Valves

Application Notes |
• Corrosive liquid (such as LiPF6 electrolyte) must be remain
sealed in a container inside the glove box. Otherwise, liquid
vapor may condense and corrode the steel chamber and the
purification pipeline.- • The H2O & O2 removing rate is largely dependent on the type
of purging gas used. For faster chamber purging process,
Nitrogen is preferred over Argon due to its lighter mass. - • By closing the vacuum flange, the glove box can be vacuumed
by mechanical pump up to 0.5 Torrs before filling inert gas,
(moisture can be below 180 ppm and oxygen below 200
ppm). Then you can save at least 1-2 tank of inert gas from
purging at each operation. - • Please call or email us to get a price and lead time for multi-
pins feed through on the glove box if you need to measure the
sample inside the chamber, MTI's technician can provide a
solution with no impact on sealing (leaking rate less than 6

- • You may choose humidity and oxygen analyzer below at extra
cost to monitor gas humidity and oxygen content inside the
glove box - • The humidity inside the glove box can be controlled by using
either manual purging system or Gas Purification System.

manually purging the system for 6 cycles by using N2
gas supply tank - º Humidity Range < 2% Rh: Please use either gas
supply with 99.9999% gas purity with moisture
filter or a Recirculating Gas Purification System for
