The whole set pressing die includes | 1. The die is made of Cr12MoV refractory alloy with Max. working Temperature 400ºC- 2. Max. Pressure 6 metric tons or 470 Mp
- 3. One 0.5" I.D. core die made of hardened steel and highly polished with hardness Rc 50
- 4. Ra 0.08μm highly polished steel
- 5. One steel sleeve for core dies protection
- 6. Two pushing rods highly polished and perfectly fitted into the die
- 7. Two steel support plates
- 8. One pressing pole for releasing sample from die only
- 9. One steel cylinder for pushing out the sample

Steps to make sample pellet
| • Mixing and grinding chemical powder by agate mortar- • Calcine mixed the powder in a high temp furnace under suitable temperature
- • Grinding calcined powder again by mortar
- • Put calcined powder into the die
- • Pressing sample by a pressing machine under suitable pressure
- • Take out pellet sample from die
- • Sintering the pellet under suitable temperature
- • Then, a new material sample is formed!

Cautions | • Please must always wear protection goggles during operation !!!- • Please use alcohol to clean the pressing die every time before use and store it in a dry place with
antirust oil after used to avoid rusting on the surface because all pressing dies are made by high- stretched carbon steel for achieving high hardness to meet essential requirements of making ceramic or metal samples. Otherwise, the pressing surface could probably get scratched.
