GSL-1700X-60-II is a CE certified dual zones tube furnace. Each heating zone is 12" in length and controlled by two precision 30 segments digital temperature controllers independently. One zone is heated by MoSi2 elements up to 1700ºC, and another zone is heated by SiC element up to 1400ºC, So the tube furnace can create the various thermal gradient by adjusting two zone temperature. It is excellent furnace to prepare functional materials under thermal gradient, and also can be used for epitaxial film growth by CVD or PVD with a vacuum system.

    Warnings

    •      •  The tube furnaces with alumina tube are designed for using under vacuum and low pressure < 0.02
               Mpa / 0.2 Bar/ 3 PSI
    •      •  Never use graphite crucible in alumina tube.
    •      •  Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1500°C. The flow rate for gasses should be limited
               to <200 SCCM (or 200mL/min) for reducing thermal shocks to the tube.
    •      •  Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the
              pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation.

    •      •  Never heat the furnace while the gas release valve is closed and a positive pressure condition exists
              within the furnace chamber. The pressure gauge must be used to closely monitor the chamber condition
              at all times during the heating process; please open the gas release valve immediately once the
             chamber pressure has reached over 3 PSI to prevent unforeseeable damages.
