KSL-1700X-SJ is a CE certified bench-top high-temperature furnace with particle filtering function made by MTI. The furnace consists of high-quality alumina fiber bricks and MoSi2 heating elements with a chamber size of 8" x 8" x 8".

  • Double layer steel structure with air cooling fan to keep case temperature below 60°C
  • A square alumina crucible with lid inside the chamber

  • A water chiller placed on top of the furnace for separating and collecting colloid

Application Notes
  • For longer furnace service life, we recommend the heating rate not to exceed 10°C /min
  • The cooling rate shall also not exceed 10°C /min
  • This furnace lacks vacuum sealing, toxic or explosive gases are not recommended for use with this furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision
  • Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating
