How to make water-based electrode (graphite for anode) for your reference :
1. Weight Ratio 1. (All other weights depends on how much active power your will use) : ○ Active Powder : 92.5 % ○ CMC : 1.5 % ○ SBR liquid : 2.5 % ○ Conductive : 3.5 % ○ Absolute Alcohol : 15 ml/kg graphite ○ De-Ionized water : At least 125 % of graphite 2. Make liquid thickening agent : heat up de-ionized water to 60C and then slowly put the CMC into the water and keep stiring until all of it is dissolved.
3. Add alcohol into 125 % de-ionized water and then add conductive powder and stir. 4. Put active powder into 3 and stir* 5. Add SBR into 4 and stir* 6. Take a little sample and test the viscosity, it is OK to coat if the viscosity is between 3000 - 5000 mpa.s.
If the viscosity is over this range, add more de-ionized water; if the viscosity is lower, add more binder (CMC and SBR)
